As far as art goes I have only purchased one painting up to date and that was fairly recently when I was in Hawaii. The artist is Thomas Thor Darson and he does a style of paintings which is hard for me to describe because I am not very knowledgeable of Artistic styles but basically it scenery with a modern Hawaii type theme, he uses his artistic skills and some computer programs to design very vivid, detail rich paintings. I will try to post the picture when I get my digital camera up and running. If artist is referring to music artist then my favorite would have to be Audioslave at the present time, though I do like most modern and older rock.

Reason for taking class:
This class is my first attempt at moving into a new field (nursing) and away from my current job/career. I did not take any biology courses while I was getting my first bachelor degree and to progress threw the nursing program this class is the foundation for many others to follow.

Achievements:
I hope to get a general knowledge of the concepts, and get an idea of how challenging this class will be a future nursing classes. My goal is to complete this class with enough knowledge of biology to move on and start taking Anatomy courses in the summer, when I hope to be in Prescott. I am currently in Seattle WA, hence why I am taking this class online.

I have recently started taking martial arts here in Seattle, and I have found I enjoy the classes and the feeling of accomplishing something as I continue to improve and progress. I plan to continue to take some form of martial arts until I am an old man and can no longer stand.

My Father is a nurse in Prescott at the VA Medical center and he has been a big inspiration and resource for me as I have rustled with the decision to move on to a different career path.

I love to play texas-holdem, I play in a league here in Seattle where we get together on various days of the week and play cards at bars/restaurants. There is no money involved, mainly gift cert for the winners. So for me its not about winning money is about strategy and looking around at 30 some other people and saying everyone has there own strategy and method of playing and I want to conjure them the same way you want to be better then you opponent at chess. I like to be competitive with games/sports and poker is a great way to continue to challenge myself and strive to be better. With this particular class I am planning on cutting back my poker playing until I have conjured BIO156.
